On 14 March, Mr Luddington joined some of the children from Merley First School, Merley, Wimborne, Dorset and the fantastic Outdoor Adventurers team to plant 4 new trees (2 Prunus avium, 1 Acer campestre and 1 Quercus robur).

The trees and materials were provided by Treework Environmental Practice to mark Treework’s 40th year. The new trees where selected to deal with slightly wet soils and tolerance to some shade. The trees, once established, will help to increase species diversity, and break up age class of the existing tree population. They will also provide seasonal visual interest with beautiful spring flours and vibrant autumn colour from the cherry trees and field maple.
